Job Description
Axon Moore are partnering with a national, multi-site organisation seeking an experienced Head of Property to lead its property and estate’s function.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering a strategic property plan covering acquisitions, disposals, leasing, facilities management, maintenance, and capital projects. They will ensure the estate supports operational needs, remains legally compliant, and delivers long-term value for money.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a long-term property strategy aligned to business objectives.
Lead estate management activity, including acquisitions, disposals, lease negotiations, and renewals.
Oversee facilities management, planned/reactive maintenance, and compliance programmes.
Deliver capital projects from concept to completion, ensuring time, cost, and quality standards.
Manage property budgets, forecasting, and value-for-money initiatives.
Maintain accurate property data, asset records, and lease registers.
Provide expert advice to senior leadership on property risks and opportunities.
Lead and develop a property team, promoting a culture of performance and accountability.
Skills & Experience:
Degree in Real Estate, Surveying, Construction, or a related discipline.
Professional membership preferred (RICS, IWFM, CIOB or equivalent).
Proven experience managing large, multi-site property portfolios.
Strong track record in capital projects, lease management, and estate optimisation.
Excellent financial management, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Knowledge of property law, health & safety, and facilities compliance.
Leadership experience within complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
