Your new role
As a Property Manager (Associate Director), you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of residential property assets across a defined region. Acting as the main point of contact for clients, tenants, and contractors, you will ensure high levels of service delivery, compliance, and estate performance.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Managing multiple properties and portfolios, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, tenants, and contractors.
* Undertaking property inspections and managing maintenance and repair programmes.
* Overseeing tenancy and lettings management, including rental appraisals, negotiations, and rent reviews.
* Managing budgets, cash flows, and rent arrears.
* Supporting business development activities, including contributing to tenders and client presentations.
* Advising clients on legislative changes and implementing property management strategies.
* Assisting with the leadership and development of a team of property professionals.
What you'll need to succeed
* Proven experience in residential property management.
* Strong knowledge of property legislation and compliance requirements.
* Professional qualification such as ARLA, AssocRICS, MRICS, or equivalent.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to manage budgets, financial performance, and operational priorities.
* Strong commercial awareness and a proactive approach to business development.
* Previous leadership or mentoring experience would be advantageous.
