Job Description

Our client is a multi award winning estate agents who have offices throughout the Yorkshire and Lancashire regions. They are currently looking for a Property Manager to join their team in the Halifax office and reports directly to the Department Manager. The role involves managing a portfolio of rental properties on behalf of Landlords. This role will include everything from marketing the property upon instruction right through to signing tenants in and out of the properties. Job Responsibilities * Process appointments and feedback to landlord. * Deal with customer enquiries effectively. * Ensure marketing literature are up to date for vacant properties. * Maintain compliance with industry and internal regulations. * Deal with DPS/deposit resolutions & chase arrears. * Tenant referencing and liaison with landlords & tenants * Follow up viewings and feedback to landlords * Ensure that property maintenance issues are resolved in a timely & cost effective manner * Answer all incoming communications (internal & external) * Ensure focus on own development * Attention to all H&S issues, including hazard and accident reporting Job Requirements * Strong customer services skills. * Excellent time management skills. * Ability to work under own initiative & manage your own time. * Ability to see other leads for sales purposes. * Negotiation skills to achieve the best outcome for the business and the customer. * Flexible and adaptable approach This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to become apart of the Huddersfield team and grow with the business. Hours of work at 9:00am – 5:00pm and the role will involve working 1 in 3 Saturdays 10:00am – 2:00pm. The job role would also require someone who would be able to be flexible in terms of times to comply with the required responsibilities. There would also be time when you may be asked to work at other branches in the area to help cover holiday periods and sickness. Some training would be offered with this role during the initial probation period
