Paralegal / Legal Executive – Real Estate Brighton | Full-time | Flexible/Hybrid Working (post-probation) Market-competitive salary, dependent on experience Are you an experienced Paralegal or Legal Executive with a background in Real Estate? Eclectic Recruitment is proud to be working with a well-established, progressive law firm in Brighton, currently seeking a dedicated individual to join their thriving Real Estate team. The Role You’ll play a key role supporting an experienced fee earner within a busy and successful Real Estate department. This is a hands-on role with high-quality work, ideal for someone with existing conveyancing experience looking to take the next step in their legal career. From day one, you’ll be involved in live transactions and be exposed to a wide variety of property matters, from initial instruction to post-completion. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is proactive, commercially aware, and confident working both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Key Responsibilities * Assisting with the management of active conveyancing files * Supporting fee-earners in all stages of the conveyancing process * Liaising with clients, agents, lenders, and other solicitors * Drafting reports (title, mortgage, search results – with supervision) * Raising and reviewing enquiries on title and contract packs * Handling administrative tasks such as file opening, compliance, and billing * Preparing completion statements, invoices, and post-completion documentation * Ensuring all internal and external systems are updated accurately What We’re Looking For * Previous paralegal or fee-earning experience in conveyancing * Strong working knowledge of the residential/commercial conveyancing process * Excellent organisational and time management skills * Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills * Ability to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines * A team player with a positive and flexible approach * Relevant legal qualifications are preferred (but not essential) This firm also supports alternative routes to qualification for successful candidates.
