What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, no two days will be the same. You will:
* Work closely with Sales Managers to define winning bid strategies and transform them into tailored solutions.
* Translate customer needs and tender requirements into innovative, cost-effective proposals.
* Lead cross-functional bid teams, coordinating technical experts to deliver robust and competitive solutions.
* Prepare and deliver proposals that bring together design, planning, pricing, and commercial details into one clear offer.
* Present solutions directly to customers in an engaging and persuasive way.
* Keep senior stakeholders updated on bid progress and ensure alignment across the business.
* Manage multiple bids at once while maintaining high quality and attention to detail.
* Build strong, lasting customer relationships through excellent communication and problem-solving.
What We’re Looking For
We’re searching for a motivated engineer who enjoys both the technical and customer-facing side of engineering. Ideally, you’ll bring:
* A BSc/MSc in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, industrial, or similar).
* Experience in material handling systems or automation (preferred).
* Previous customer-facing experience – workshops, presentations, or solution design discussions.
* Knowledge of the Airport or Parcel logistics sector (an advantage, not essential).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
* Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Excellent communication skills – able to simplify complex solutions into clear, compelling messages.
* A proactive, collaborative mindset with the ability to work across different teams.
