Proposals Manager - Fire Detection
Are you a strategic thinker who thrives on turning opportunities into successful outcomes? We’re looking for an experienced Proposals Manager to take ownership of developing and delivering high-value bids across our clients expanding Data Centre and Fire Protection divisions.

The Role
As Proposals Manager, you will:

Lead, motivate and develop the proposals and estimating team, ensuring a consistent, high-quality approach across all submissions.

Manage the full bid lifecycle, from initial opportunity to final submission, overseeing timelines, resources, and stakeholder coordination.
*
Work closely with directors, engineers and commercial colleagues to craft bespoke, value-driven proposals that address client needs.
*
Support the business development strategy by maintaining a strong pipeline of opportunities and influencing long-term growth plans.
*
Drive continuous improvement, promote best practice, and provide effective leadership within the team.
About You
Our client is seeking someone who can bring:

Demonstrable experience in proposals, sales, or business development—preferably within fire detection, M&E, or data centre sectors.

Strong technical awareness with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively.

Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
