Working Hours: Monday - Friday, Full Time

About the School:

We're working with a specialist SEND school in Rochdale that supports young people aged 11-19 with a wide range of complex special educational needs, including complex autism. This is an exciting opportunity to play a leading role in developing their provision and informal curriculum offer, helping learners build the skills they need to thrive in adult life.

About the Role:

As Provision Coordinator, you'll take a leading role in shaping and delivering a specialist offer for learners with complex autism, ensuring the curriculum is meaningful, engaging, and tailored to individual needs. You'll work closely with teaching and support staff to lead, direct, and develop provision, while building strong relationships with learners, colleagues, and the wider school community.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring specialist leader who is passionate about complex autism and committed to making a genuine difference to the lives of young people with SEND.

Provision Coordinator Role and Responsibilities:

Develop and lead the Engage provision and informal curriculum offer for learners with complex autism
Lead, direct, and develop teaching and support staff within the provision
Inspire and motivate young people in their learning and personal development
Contribute to research, development, and continuous improvement of the curriculum offerProvision Coordinator - What We're Looking For:

Emotional and physical resilience when working with learners who have complex needs
Strong team-working and leadership skills, with the ability to direct and develop others
Aspiring specialist leadership qualities and a desire to make a positive, lasting impactTo Be Eligible You Must:

Hold the Right to Work in the UK
Have an enhanced child barred list DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply)
Be able to provide two professional references (child-related preferred)
Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
