Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP)
Job Type: Permanent
Full time
Location: Ireland (Site and office travel required, but majority home-based)
Salary: €70,000 - €80,000

Are you experienced in construction safety and confident leading projects from the early planning stages?
Do you have experience making sure that projects start safely and stay that way right through to handover?
Turner Lovell is partnering with a market leader in High Voltage and Medium Voltage engineering services across Ireland, the UK, and Europe that delivers bespoke and full turnkey solutions. We're looking for a Project Supervisor for the Design Process (PSDP) to help make sure safety is a key part of every stage, from the drawing board to the finished structure.
This role is ideal for someone who understands how to spot hazards early, is competent working with different teams and clients, and is willing to play a key role in the safety of some of Ireland's most important projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate the work of designers to ensure safety and compliance
Identify risks related to design, planning or project timelines
Eliminate or reduce risks where possible before work begins
Prepare the safety and health plan and deliver it to the client before tender
Create a safety file for the completed project and handover to the client
Organise collaboration and communication between all design teams
Issue directions to designers, contractors, or other relevant parties when required
Ideal Profile:
Level 8 degree in related field (engineering, construction, safety etc)
Strong knowledge of PSDP responsibilities and health and safety legislation
Experience working as a safety advisor in construction or utilities
Able to work independently and take leads on projects
Excellent communication, planning and teamwork skills
