Location: Barrow-in-Furness
Salary: £38,000 - £43,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced PSV Mechanic to join our team in Barrow-in-Furness. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional with a strong background in vehicle maintenance to work with a reliable operator and maintain a fleet of public service vehicles to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on PSV (buses/coaches)
Diagnose faults and perform effective repairs
Work with electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Prepare vehicles for MOT and conduct inspections to DVSA standards
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with health & safety proceduresRequirements:
NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
Previous experience working with PSV or HGVs
Good knowledge of DVSA standards and regulations
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to work shifts or occasional weekends if requiredWhat We Offer:
