PortugalConnaught Education is currently working with a renowned international independent school, based 30 minutes from Lisbon, Portugal, to appoint a Psychology and Humanities Teacher from September 2025. The role in question is full-time and is on a 2-year contract with the option to renew.
The school in question is one of the longest serving and most established international schools in Portugal, catering for day and boarding pupils between the ages of 4 and 18 years old. The school has Portugal's largest education campus, with outstanding facilities in a modern, state of the art setting. This progressive school is a proud member of the world's foremost independent schools' group, offering unparalleled opportunities for networking and professional development.
The role in question is for a Psychology specialist who can deliver the subject to IGCSE and IB students, whilst also contributing to the middle school Humanities curriculum. The successful Psychology Teacher will have a good degree in a relevant subject area; a recognised teaching qualification is desirable but not essential. Experience of teaching IGCSE and IB is desirable as is a passion for inspiring young people.
