About the Role
Milk Education is working with a network of welcoming secondary schools across Leeds, and we’re looking for an experienced Sociology & Psychology Teacher to join our team from January. This is a fantastic opportunity for teachers seeking flexible work, career development, or a pathway into a full-time role.
As a Sociology & Psychology Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons across KS4 and KS5, supporting student progress and fostering curiosity in social sciences. You’ll contribute to enriching the curriculum while maintaining a positive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality Sociology and Psychology lessons.
Support students’ academic development, ensuring engagement and understanding.
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with school policies.
Contribute to departmental initiatives and extracurricular enrichment activities.
Maintain positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
About You
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching Sociology and Psychology.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Ability to inspire and engage students across KS4 and KS5.
A flexible, professional, and student-focused approach.
