The School and Role
Vision for Education are seeking a dedicated Psychology Graduate to work full-time (Monday–Friday) in a specialised SEND school in South Shields. You will support children and young people with mental health needs, learning difficulties, and a range of additional barriers to learning.
This is a highly rewarding opportunity to apply your psychological knowledge to help pupils build confidence, regulate emotions, and re-engage with their education in a safe, nurturing environment.
Requirements
The ideal Psychology Graduate will have:
Experience supporting secondary-aged learners – with a calm, reassuring approach.
Background in SEND, mental health or challenging behaviour – confident using de-escalation and supportive strategies.
A genuine passion for the progress and wellbeing of vulnerable pupils – committed to helping every child succeed.
