A welcoming primary school in Heaton is looking for a compassionate and switched-on Teaching Assistant to support a pupil in Year 3 with SEND needs. What you will be doing: Providing one-to-one support that makes a real difference Helping your pupil feel calm, confident and included Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO Helping children develop their communication, social, and fine motor skills through creative play and hands-on activities. Creating a safe, encouraging space where every child feels valued and included. Core hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 – 15:30 About you: Recent psychology graduate or soon-to-be graduate with a passion for working with young children. Patient, empathetic, and ready to make a difference in the lives of young learners. Great communication skills and a natural ability to connect with children.
