Are you a Psychology/Counselling graduate and interested in a career in educational settings, whether that is supporting within a mainstream school, or across a variety of Special Needs Schools?
Have you completed previous university placements or volunteer programmes supporting either children or adults with additional needs or mental health support?
Special Educational Needs schools could be a great place to start your career in supporting children and young adults with additional needs, especially if you are looking at a career in child psychology, family support or down the counselling route!
Paid experience in Special Needs Settings/Mainstream Schools are great starting roles for child psychology/family support-based careers.
