A high performing British curriculum school in Abu Dhabi is seeking an inspiring A Level Psychology Teacher to join its growing Sixth Form. The school blends academic heritage with innovative, skills based learning, creating an environment where students are encouraged to think critically, build confidence and develop a strong sense of self.
The role
You will deliver engaging and rigorous A Level Psychology lessons, helping students explore human behaviour, cognition and research methodology. Your teaching will foster curiosity, analytical thinking and a genuine interest in understanding people. You will work as part of a dedicated Sixth Form team committed to academic excellence and pupil wellbeing.
Key responsibilities include
Teaching A Level Psychology and ensuring strong academic progress
Building a classroom culture centred on inquiry, empathy and critical thinking
Supporting students with research skills, exam preparation and wider academic development
Contributing to enrichment and co curricular opportunities within the Sixth Form
Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the Psychology and Social Sciences offering
Who we’re looking for
A qualified teacher with experience teaching A Level Psychology or equivalent post 16 qualifications
Strong subject knowledge and the ability to make complex ideas accessible and engaging
A passion for supporting young people academically and pastorally
A commitment to inclusion, high standards and positive relationships
Experience in the British curriculum is preferred
