Job Description
Rikama Education is working with a secondary school in Greenwich to recruit a strong and experienced Psychology Teacher for a full-time role starting in September 2025.
This position is initially fixed-term for the academic year, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
About the Role:
We're specifically looking for a confident, capable teacher who can hit the ground running. Ideally, you will not be a trainee or ECT, and will have a solid track record of delivering Psychology up to Key Stage 5.
Experience with IB Psychology would be a strong advantage, though it's not essential.

What We're Looking For:
QTS and a relevant teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE)
Strong classroom experience (ideally beyond ECT/Trainee level)
Ability to teach Psychology to KS5, with IB Psychology experience as a bonus
Commitment to student progress and inclusive education
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
Your Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging Psychology lessons that meet curriculum standards
Inspire and challenge students to achieve their full potential
Assess and provide feedback to support academic development
Work collaboratively with staff, students, and parents/carers
