Supply Desk is working in partnership with a dynamic and inclusive secondary school in Slough, currently seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Psychology Teacher to join their team as soon as possible.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who enjoys helping students explore human behaviour, mental processes, and the science behind how we think and learn. About the Role:
Deliver engaging and well-structured Psychology lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5
Teach core topics such as memory, attachment, social influence, psychopathology, and research methods
Use current research and real-life case studies to enhance learning and relevance
Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback and academic support
Contribute to the wider school community through assemblies, pastoral support, or enrichment activities (e.g. psychology clubs or mental health awareness events)
The ideal candidate will:
Hold QTS or an equivalent UK teaching qualification (ECTs are welcome to apply)
Have experience teaching Psychology at secondary or post-16 level (GCSE/A-Level/BTEC)
Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver complex topics in an accessible and engaging way
Inspire students to think critically, explore psychological research, and apply their learning
Have excellent communication, planning, and classroom management skills
Be committed to safeguarding, inclusion, and continuous professional development
