Part Time Hourly Paid Lecturer in Hair and Barbering
£22.36 gross per hour plus £5.33 holiday pay
The Role
As a part time hourly paid lecturer, you will assist in fostering a rich learning environment by teaching clearly structured lessons or sequences of work on Level 1, 2 and 3 Hair and Barbering courses delivered on a range of days. You will be committed to excellence, offering the very highest standards in teaching. You will also be expected to be contribute towards course marketing.
What we are looking for
You should have a level 3 or above qualification in Hair and a minimum of level 2 in Barbering. You should have a recognised teaching qualification (or to achieve within 2 years of appointment). You should have experience of teaching Level 2 and 3 Hair and Barbering programmes working with a 14-19 age group. You will have current industrial experience and up to date knowledge of current industrial practice.
All hourly paid part-time staff receive pay the month following the month in which hours are worked, e.g. hours worked in November are paid at the end of December. Holiday pay is accrued and paid three times per annum, March, August and December.
