Job Description
Our client, operating within the rail industry, is seeking a PTS Civils Supervisor for a long-term contract in Manchester. This role is part of a significant infrastructure project and falls within IR35 regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure that adequate site access and welfare facilities are provided and used correctly for all work activities.
Enforce strict adherence to the Ground Disturbance Procedure / Permit To Dig, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
Ensure all plant and equipment are current ('in date') for the allocated tasks.
Co-ordinate site layout with due regard for site security.
Supervise and lead the site team in the successful delivery of the allocated contracts.
Drive site teams to deliver scheduled work
Ensure all works are carried out in line with all health & safety protocols
Job Requirements:
Previous supervisory experience within rail projects.
Valid PTS (Personal Track Safety) certification.
SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) or SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certificate.
COSS (Controller of Site Safety) competency, preferred.
Valid UK driving licence.
