About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Pub General Manager to lead our traditional village pub. This is a hands-on role requiring strong leadership, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for locals and visitors alike.
Key Responsibilities
· Oversee daily operations of the pub, including bar and kitchen management.
· Ensure high standards of food, drink, and customer service.
· Manage staff recruitment, training, and scheduling.
· Monitor stock levels, place orders, and maintain supplier relationships.
· Handle cash management, budgeting, and financial reporting.
· Organize events and promotions to attract customers and boost revenue.
· Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
Requirements
· Minimum 2 years experience in a pub, bar, or hospitality management role.
· Strong leadership and team management skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
