Job Description
An Electrical Mechanical Pumps Field Service Fitter opportunity is available with my client who are leading and well-respected pump business. Their ideal candidate will have proven service / maintenance experience on pumps & rotating equipment, as well as hands on knowledge on diesel pump sets / engines. The role will be both field and workshop based supporting customers throughout the UK.
Electrical Mechanical Pumps Field Service Fitter role:
The successful Electrical Mechanical Pumps Field Service Fitter will be involved in dismantling, rebuilding and refurbishment of pumps within the workshop and also on site. You will be responsible for ensuring all inspection and assembly documentation is completed and procedures, policies and work instructions are followed.
• Pump decontamination prior to inspection
• Dismantling, inspection and reporting of pump unit condition
• Assembly of pump sets
• Identification of spare parts required from drawings
• Compilation of findings into detailed inspection report
• Mechanical measurement of components and critical dimensions
• Electrical inspection of pumps
• Assembly and test of pumps
• Testing of pumps
• Diesel pumpset repair and maintenance
• Assisting on site jobs where required
Electrical Mechanical Pumps Field Service Fitter requirement:
Proven pump dismantling, rebuilding and refurbishment
Diesel Pump Sets
Educated to relevant mechanical or electrical qualification or apprenticeship
Electric Motor & Control Equipment experience
Fault finding skills
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
Full Driving Licence
Electrical Mechanical Pumps Field Service Fitter Package:
Salary up to £50k dependant on expeience
