Experienced Teaching Assistants Wanted - Alternative Provision (Birmingham) 🌟
Are you a passionate and resilient Teaching Assistant looking for your next challenge?
Do you have experience supporting children and young people with additional needs, behavioural challenges, or those disengaged from mainstream education?
We are seeking dedicated and experienced TA's to join Alternative Provisions across Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners who need extra guidance, encouragement, and tailored support.
What we're looking for:
✔ Previous experience in Alternative Provisions, PRU, SEN, or behaviour support
✔ Strong classroom management skills and a calm, positive approach
✔ Ability to build strong relationships and act as a positive role model
✔ Resilience, flexibility, and a genuine passion for helping young people thrive
What you'll do:
🔹 Support students 1:1 and in small groups to overcome barriers to learning
🔹 Assist teachers in delivering engaging, personalised lessons
🔹 Encourage emotional, social, and academic development
🔹 Contribute to a supportive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
