We are now on the lookout for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to support and provide assistance to management staff in Head Office and on sites. This position will be based out of our Head Office in Ipswich. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday (however we have the great escape every Friday, where we get to leave off an hour earlier) plus we can offer hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 at home). Main Duties of the Purchase Ledger Assistant: * Ensure all work complies with quality, safety, and environmental policies and the requirements of company procedures. * Responsible for input of data into COINS system * Undertake routine tasks and activities within a designated area of work * Resolve queries/ issues within own area of work by direct contact with other staff, customers and suppliers * Provide information as required by retrieving documents and / or preparing basic reports What we are looking for: We are looking for someone who has previous Purchase Ledger experience and has exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy, who is organised with good time management. They will need to be forward thinking, beyond the given task along with having a flexible approach and not afraid to ask questions. Due to the nature of the role, we need someone who is confident in engaging with staff at all levels. The successful candidate must have a good working MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook. Knowledge of cloud-based programs would be an advantage but not essential.
