Purchase Ledger Assistant, Stoke-on-Trent, Up to £26,500 per year
The Role
We’re working with a growing business in Stoke-on-Trent that’s looking to add a Purchase Ledger Clerk to their accounting team. It’s a great opportunity for someone who already has some purchase ledger experience and enjoys working in a fast-paced, supportive team environment.
Our client is continuing to grow, offering a stable role with plenty of opportunity to develop your skills within finance.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Match, batch and coding invoices
* Allocating invoices to the correct accounts
* Setting up new suppliers
* Supporting with supplier payment runs
* Posting direct debits
* Reconciling supplier statements
* Processing staff expenses
* Investigating and resolving invoice queries
* Managing the purchase ledger inbox and responding to queries
What They’re Looking For
* Previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role
* Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with queries
* Excellent attention to detail
* Good Excel and Microsoft Office skills
What’s On Offer
* Salary £25,000 - £26,500 per annum
