Axon Moore is working in an exclusive partnership with a high-growth SME in Bolton who have had an excellent period of trading over the past 12 months and are searching for an experienced Purchase Ledger Assistant who is looking to take ownership for the Accounts Payable processes and add value to the business.
A generous starting salary is on offer up to £30,000 and there is scope to become involved with wider areas of the accounts team. The team is friendly and down to earth which is well suited to a chatty and personable candidate. The business also boasts a great working culture with hybrid and flexible working also on offer.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Processing of purchase ledger invoices
Purchase ledger cash postings
Processing credit card transactions/expenses
Setting up new suppliers
Supplier statement reconciliations
Sending invoices internally for approval and approving on the system ready for payment
Managing the accounts payable mailbox, supplier calls and other supplier queries
Any other finance related transactional postings
Required Skills and Experience:
1 years’ experience within a finance role
An ability to meet deadlines and efficiently prioritise workload
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Positive and can-do attitude with an enthusiastic approach to work
An ability to work collaboratively and independently
Excellent attention to detail
Great written and verbal communication
