Taylor Stevenson are proud to be working in partnership with a prospering business based in Doncaster, who are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team with genuine opportunities to progress.
You would be reporting to the Accounts Supervisor and will be responsible for processing all purchase invoices for our group of companies. You will work together within the small friendly team to ensure all deadlines are met and policies are adhered to.
Responsibilities
* Coding and posting supplier invoices to multiple ledgers
* Preparation of monthly BACS run
* Reconciliation of supplier statements
* Stock reconciliation
* Regular filing of all purchase ledger & other accounts documentation
* Daily sales invoicing
* Maintain KPI spreadsheets
* Balance sheet reconciliation and nominal analysis
* Provide cover for the Credit Controller at peak times
Qualifications
* Minimum 2 years experience of purchase ledger in a similar position
* Previous experience of sales ledger desirable
* Experience of working with Microsoft office packages, Excel at intermediate level is preferred
* Previous experience of working with accountancy packages
Monday – Friday 08:30 -17:30
£26k-£29k dependant on experience
