We are working with an excellent client who is looking to appoint a Purchase Ledger Clerk / Administrator to join their growing team! This role is ideal for someone who enjoys and want to grow within purchase ledger or accounts payable.
For this role you will be working in a fast-paced environment where you will always have something to do and will be mainly responsible for managing the company’s purchase ledger processes, ensuring supplier invoices are accurately recorded, payments are processed on time, and financial records are maintained in line with company policies.

* Annual Salary circa £26 000 – £28 000 (DOE)

Your key duties as the Purchase Ledger Clerk:
* Process and accurately record supplier invoices and credit notes in the accounting system.
* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
* Prepare and process supplier payment runs in accordance with payment terms.
* Maintain accurate purchase ledger records and ensure proper filing of financial documents.
* Communicate with suppliers and internal departments to resolve invoice or payment queries.
* Assist with month-end procedures, including ledger reconciliations and reporting.
* Ad hoc additional admin support to the wider team.
Skills and Requirements:
* Recent experience in purchase ledger, accounts payable, finance admin, or any other relevant experience
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Basic understanding of accounting processes
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Desire to learn and grow within purchase ledger / accounts payable
