We’re looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Manager to take ownership of a busy, high-volume ledger. You’ll lead from the front, managing a small team and overseeing all aspects of the purchase ledger process.
This role is fast-paced, with a current backlog to get on top of – so you’ll need to be hands-on, organised, and ready to roll up your sleeves. Overtime may occasionally be required to meet deadlines.
What you’ll do:
* Manage the day-to-day running of the purchase ledger
* Clear backlog and ensure timely, accurate invoice processing
* Lead, support and motivate the ledger team
* Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams
* Ensure compliance with financial controls and audit requirement
What you’ll bring:
* Proven purchase ledger management experience in a high-volume environment
* Strong leadership and “can-do” attitude
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
* Accuracy, attention to detail and resilience under pressure
