About the Role
We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchasing Administrator to join a busy team in Arbroath. The role is initially offered on a temporary basis for 3 months, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Processing purchase orders and maintaining accurate records
Liaising with suppliers to confirm pricing, availability, and delivery schedules
Monitoring stock levels and assisting with inventory management
Supporting the Purchasing Manager with administrative tasks and reporting
Resolving invoice queries and ensuring timely payment of suppliers
Updating internal systems and databases with procurement information
Assisting with sourcing new suppliers and obtaining quotationsRequirements
Previous experience in a purchasing administrator role is desirable
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
