As a Purchasing Administrator, you'll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly. This role offers genuine quick progression to a Buyer role as long as you are willing to learn. Working alongside the existing purchasing and operations team, you'll be involved in:
Monitoring and forecasting stock levels
Liaising with suppliers and internal teams
Placing and tracking purchase orders
Negotiating prices and evaluating suppliers
Ensuring certification and documentation accuracy
Maintaining records using Sage 50/200/Construct (or similar)
Supporting continuous improvement within the purchasing function
About You
We're looking for someone who:
Has experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
Possesses strong communication and organisational skills
Can prioritise tasks and work both independently and as part of a team
Is confident using Microsoft Office and business systems
Has excellent attention to detail and written/spoken English
Experience in purchasing or materials control would be ideal, but full training and support will be provided.
