The role:
You’ll provide end-to-end procurement support, from obtaining quotes to assisting with tender documentation. You’ll work closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure value-for-money sourcing and seamless transactional procurement processes. With a strong emphasis on compliance and customer service, you’ll help maintain the smooth flow of purchasing activity while supporting key procurement projects.
Key duties include:
* Sourcing goods/services in line with procurement procedures and standing financial instructions
* Supporting tender and quote activities as needed
* Liaising with users to ensure fit-for-purpose products
* Managing order processes using electronic catalogues
* Tracking procurement savings and benefits
* Supporting invoice queries and resolving discrepancies
* Providing administrative support to buyers and senior buyers
* Helping communicate contract opportunities and facilitating supplier meetings
Who we’re looking for:
You’ll need excellent communication skills, a methodical approach to administration, and an interest in public procurement. Previous experience in procurement or a related administrative function is desirable but not essential. Training and support will be provided.
