Job Description
Extra Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Purchasing Manager for our client based in Walsall. The Purchasing Manager is a key role responsible for overseeing all procurement-related activity. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company’s overall purchasing strategy and operations to maximize purchase/cost performance and optimization. This role will involve working closely with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal departments to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and services.
Purchasing Manager Responsibilities:
Work well within an established team
To be involved with individual’s coaching and development
Increase team engagement and performance
Develop and maintain the departmental skill matrix and work to ensure that succession plans are achieved
Maintain company standards by dealing with conduct issues in an effective and timely manner
Lead by example through the promotion of Company values, standards, policies and procedures
Purchasing Manager Details:
Salary: up to £62,000.00 depending on experience
Location: Walsall (WS6) (No hybrid)
Purchasing Manager Requirements:

Deal with vendor related concerns or issues
