Portfolio Procurement has been engaged by a leading IT company to recruit for a Purchasing Supervisor.
Main purpose of the job
Managing relationships with suppliers to improve availability and pricing
Monitor purchasing statistics
Ensure the adherence to procurement policies and compliance
Manage and resolve supply chain issues
Working alongside the logistics team
Negotiate strategically with suppliers
Job Requirements
Experience within a procurement role and within an IT reselling company is required
Must be a confident decision maker
Strong negotiation skills
Advance Microsoft Excel skills
Must have team leadership experience
