Build your career in Quality within a growing food manufacturing business.
We're working with an established B2B food manufacturing business to recruit a Quality Administrator to join its Quality team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with existing Quality experience who wants to develop their technical knowledge and play a hands-on role in food safety, quality systems, customer complaints and continuous improvement.
You'll be joining a busy manufacturing environment where Quality plays a key role in maintaining standards, supporting customers and driving improvements across the site.
The Role
Working as part of the Quality team, you'll provide essential support across the site's quality systems and day-to-day quality activity.
Your responsibilities will include:
Maintaining quality management systems, records and documentation.
Supporting the investigation and resolution of customer complaints and quality issues.
Assisting with root cause analysis and CAPA activities.
Supporting non-conformance investigations and follow-up actions.
Checking product coding and maintaining traceability records.
Supporting documentation for customer audits and regulatory inspections.
Working with other departments to resolve quality concerns effectively.
Ensuring quality documentation remains accurate, up to date and compliant with internal and industry requirements.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is organised, technically curious and genuinely interested in Quality within food manufacturing.
You'll ideally have:
Previous experience in a Quality Administrator, Quality Coordinator or similar role.
A good understanding of HACCP and Critical Control Points (CCPs).
Experience or understanding of root cause analysis and problem solving.
Knowledge of product coding and traceability.
Strong administration skills and exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.Food manufacturing experience would be advantageous, alongside exposure to internal auditing, quality management systems or CAPA processes.
