QA Inspector - Glasgow
We are seeking an experienced QA Inspector to join our Inspection team in Glasgow. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a high-precision manufacturing environment, ensuring the quality and compliance of materials, components, and finished products.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct in-process and final inspections of mechanical or manufactured components
Use precision measuring instruments such as callipers, micrometres, gauges, and CMMs
Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards
Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed QA records
Report non-conformities and assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions
Support internal audits and participate in continuous improvement activities
Ensure all work follows health and safety guidelines and company procedures
Undertake any other duties as required
Qualifications & Experience:
Previous experience as a QA/QC Inspector in a manufacturing or engineering environment
Time-served experience is desirable
Strong understanding of quality inspection techniques and tools
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
What's in it for you?
Rate: up to £22.01 per hour (dependent on experience)
Full-time, permanent role, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Once fully trained, the role moves onto a three-shift rotation (early, back, and night shifts)
