Job Description
Mazco Recruitment are proud to be supporting a precision engineering business in Abingdon who are looking for a Quality Inspector to join their team on a day shift basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and experience in inspection to join a company that takes pride in producing high-quality components.
What’s on offer:

Salary: Up to £32,000 per year (dependent on experience)

Hours: Day shift (no nights or weekends)

Responsibilities:
*
Inspect components in line with company processes and customer specifications
*
Carry out structural and dimensional verification of parts and tooling
*
Maintain and calibrate measuring equipment
*
Write, monitor, and update procedures to ensure compliance across the business
*
Complete and maintain accurate traceability paperwork
*
Report quality issues and provide feedback to managers
*
Support the team to meet production and delivery targets
*
Uphold housekeeping standards and follow “clean as you go” practices
*
Carry out any ad-hoc duties as required
Key Skills & Attributes:
*
Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
*
Solid understanding of metrology and GD&T techniques
*
Skilled in the use of hand measuring equipment and 3D scanning tools/software
*
Computer literate with standard software packages
*
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
*
Confident communicator with a professional and approachable manner
*
Calm under pressure with a proactive and motivated attitude
*
