Overview
Would you like a to play a leading role in ensuring quality excellence at a rapidly growing site, part of a major food manufacturer.
The opportunity for rapid progression withing this business are very real and as QA Manager you will have the chance to truly showcase your skills.
The Role
The successful QA Manager will:
* Own and manage the site’s Quality Management Systems to ensure product safety, legality and quality.
* Lead and develop the QA team, ensuring consistent training and clear objectives.
* Support site HACCP, Integrity, Allergen and Internal Audit programmes.
* Prepare for and host customer, third-party and regulatory audits.
* Coach cross-functional teams to build awareness and ownership of food safety.
* Ensure micro results are monitored, trends analysed, and actions taken.
* Drive investigations into complaints and non-conformances, with root cause and preventative actions.
* Deliver the ‘Brilliant Basics’ plan and challenge the status quo with CI initiatives.
* Maintain robust factory specs and QAS, ensuring they are understood and applied.
* Actively contribute to technical and NPD trials, and site-wide improvement projects.
The Candidate
The successful QA Manager will have:
* A proven track record in QA within food manufacturing.
* Strong understanding of BRC, HACCP, and retailer standards.
* Experience leading QA teams in a high-care / high-volume environment.
* Strong communication and influencing skills.
