Quality Assurance Officer
Birkenhead
Mon-Thurs 8am-5pm, Fri 8am-12:30pm
Permanent, Full-Time
We're recruiting on behalf of a growing manufacturing business in Birkenhead, looking to appoint an experienced Quality Assurance Officer to lead their QA function. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on maintaining high quality standards across the site. Previous people-management experience is essential.

The Role:
• Oversee compliance with quality standards across manufacturing operations
• Conduct audits, manage CAPAs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Support production, engineering, and supply chain teams in resolving quality issues
• Lead QA documentation, inspection protocols, and internal training on quality standards
• Collaborate with QC and support raw material inspections and supplier quality assessments
• Promote a proactive approach to in-line process control within production
What We're Looking For:
• Strong background in Quality Assurance, ideally in a manufacturing setting
• Previous team leadership or people management experience is essential
• Familiarity with CAPA, audits, and regulatory requirements (ISO, GMP etc.)
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Working knowledge of QC processes (desirable)
