Job Description
QA/QC Inspector
Role Overview:
Ensure client quality and process specifications are met while maintaining accurate records and high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct goods inward/outward inspections for quantity, condition, and documentation accuracy.
* Ensure compliance with warehouse and client procedures, reporting non-conformities promptly.
* Review and endorse certifications (Materials, Pressure Testing, Electrical/ATEX, NDT).
* Archive client documentation and certification.
* Build strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
* Support continuous service improvement based on client feedback.
* Prepare equipment and documentation for shipment.
* Follow all safety protocols, participate in toolbox talks, and have the authority to “stop the job” if unsafe.
* Assist the Warehouse Supervisor with tasks within capability.
* Adhere to company procedures, HSE responsibilities, and company values.
Performance Metrics:
* Client feedback and satisfaction.
* Service delivery and dispatch readiness.
* Safety performance and compliance reports.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Experience in a warehouse/store environment; QC experience preferred.
* Knowledge of test documentation and certifications.
* Preferred experience in values valves and pressure testing.
* Understanding of manual handling and COSHH.
* Mechanical or electrical engineering qualification.
* Customs awareness and computer proficiency (Excel, Word, SAP).
