QA/QC Manager
Location: Vienna (MUST have an EU Passport)
Lead quality and commissioning on large-scale M&E projects across Europe.
We’re seeking a QA/QC Manager to oversee Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Commissioning activities on high-value mechanical and electrical construction projects based in Vienna.
This is a pivotal role for an engineer who thrives on technical precision, structured delivery, and ensuring every project meets the highest international standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead QA/QC strategy from project planning through to client handover
Develop and implement Quality and Commissioning Plans aligned with ISO 9001
Conduct installation audits, inspections, and quality benchmarking
Manage FATs, SATs, and all handover documentation
Lead system walkdowns, snagging, and structured QA reporting
Drive continuous improvement and lessons learned across projects
Collaborate closely with site managers, engineers, and clients
About You
Degree-qualified Mechanical or Electrical Engineer (or equivalent)
3+ years’ experience in QA/QC, commissioning, or project engineering within M&E construction
Strong understanding of ISO 9001 and commissioning processes
Proactive and organised, with strong communication and leadership skills
Experience in data centres, pharma, or large-scale infrastructure is advantageous
Fluent in English (German a plus)
