Position: QC Engineer
Location: Deeside
Package: Circa £60,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 Hours per week
Contract: Permanent
Recruitment Fox are partnering with 4Sure Recruitment with an employer of choice as they expand into a new state of the art site in Deeside. My client currently supports with the project welding and pipe work for Hinkley Point C and has an increasing workload as new projects are planned, so naturally the expansion of the Quality Engineering team adjusts with the increasing workload.
Key Responsibilities: QC Engineer:
* Resonsible for carrying out inspections and surveillance in accordance with the Project Quality Plan. They will create lifetime records, to develop, foster and promote a culture with the client of operational satisfaction.
* Ensure weld procedures comply with relevant code & contract requirements
* Review of all documentation, LTRs & final certification packages are in accordance with contract requirements
* Review calibration and test equipment are in full compliance with company & contract requirements
* Conduct audits of the works and Projects Quality System, including sub-contractors and supplier systems where appropriate. Issuing NCRs where applicable and ensure that they are addressed in a timely manner
* Final review of all fabrication and assembly documentation before submission to the client
What We’re Looking For: QC Engineer:
* CSWIP 3.1 Qualification – Essential
* Interrogative attitude with the ability to report unsafe practices, behaviours and equipment along with health, safety, quality and environmental awareness
* Advanced knowledge of modern welding practises – Essential
* PCN Level 2 – MPI / UT / Radiographic – Desirable
