Job Description
Quality Control Inspector
Competitive + Benefits + bonus
Welwyn Garden City
Monday - Friday 2pm-10pm
gap technical are proud to be representing this manufacturing business in their search for a QC Inspector to work at their facility based near Welwyn Garden City
Performance Objectives
Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and technical sheets.
Carry out dimensional inspection of aerospace components.
Proficient in the use of handheld measuring devices including callipers, gauges,
micrometres etc.
Work to set daily targets.
Record non-conformances in a descriptive manner.
Signing C of C (training provided)
Completing first off and final inspectionPerson Specification
A minimum of 3 years' experience in an aerospace inspection environment
Able to read and interpret engineering drawings & specifications.
Use of handheld measuring equipment
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of inspection processes and methodologies
Knowledge of CMM
Experience of AS9102 First Article Inspection ReportsApply
