Job Description
We’re hiring for a QHSE Assistant to join a well-established manufacturer based in Wigan, playing a key role in maintaining quality, safety, and environmental standards across the site.

* Monday - Friday 37.5 hour week

What will you be doing as a QHSE Assistant?
* Supporting compliance with BRCGS, ISO14001, and site permits
* Delivering health & safety inductions to new starters
* Assisting with audits, risk assessments, and system updates
* Helping to drive a culture of continuous improvement
* Investigating quality issues and assisting with complaint resolutions
* Tracking and reporting QHSE data to the management team
* Supporting training and development of QHSE best practice
* Providing hands-on support across the site
What do you need?
* Experience with standards like BRCGS, ISO 9001, 14001 or 45001
* Strong admin skills and confidence using MS Office
* A practical, team-focused mindset and excellent communication skills
* Previous QHSE or manufacturing experience (desirable)
* HACCP Level 3, IOSH/NEBOSH, or auditing qualifications (desirable)
* A reasonable level of physical fitness (some hands-on work required)
