Manchester based but there will be travel involved to other sites. No car or allowance included however, business mileage paid. About the Role: An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a prominent Environmental Services organisation as a QHSE Coordinator. This role offers the chance to be an integral part of a dynamic team, ensuring the seamless implementation of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) systems across multiple UK sites. Working closely with the QHSE Officers, you will help drive compliance, enhance operational efficiency, and promote a culture of continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: * Incident Management & Investigation: Support the QHSE team in tracking and managing incident reports, ensuring thorough investigation and follow-up actions. * QHSE Campaign Coordination: Lead and coordinate QHSE campaigns, briefings, and the distribution of related materials to ensure company-wide engagement. * Data Management & Reporting: Centralise and maintain QHSE data for accurate reporting, analysis, and performance reviews, contributing to business decision-making processes. * Documentation Control: Standardise, control, and maintain QHSE documentation, ensuring it is up-to-date and compliant with industry standards. * Audit Support & Corrective Actions: Assist in the preparation of audit reports and follow through on corrective actions to ensure compliance and best practices. * ISO Compliance: Ensure adherence to ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards, assisting with internal audits and implementation of corrective measures. * Supplier & Contractor Compliance: Manage and monitor QHSE documentation related to suppliers and contractors, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and regulatory requirements. * Occupational Health & Safety: Coordinate occupational health appointments, DSE assessments, and ensure all health and safety regulations are met. * Training & Development: Facilitate company-wide training initiatives, ensuring staff receive the necessary QHSE training to foster a safe and compliant working environment. Requirements: * Educational Qualifications: A minimum of GCSEs in Maths and English. * Experience: Previous experience in safety, environmental, or operational roles within a regulated industry, ideally within the waste resource sector. * Driver’s License: A valid UK driver’s license is required for travel to multiple sites. * Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with experience in data management and reporting. * Commitment to Development: A willingness to work towards further QHSE qualifications to enhance professional growth within the role.
