Job Description
Stem Recruitment are looking for a QHSE Technologist to work for a Global packaging company in Midlothian. This dual health, safety and quality position requires an energetic, self-motivated person to take ownership of the company’s health and safety management system and provide active input to improving product quality standards.
Responsibilities
* Strive for continual improvement in the company’s quality, health and safety performance
* Conduct risk assessments of all company activities and ensure appropriate safe guards and controls are implemented to minimise risks
* Organise quarterly health and safety committee meetings, maintain minutes and monitor actions
* Record accident and near miss incidents; conduct investigations and report health and safety statistics
Requirements
* IOSH or NEBOSH general certificate desirable
* Internal Auditor Training desirable
* Coordinating health and safety activities (within a manufacturing plant is desirable)
* Maintaining compliance of a quality and hygiene management system
* HACCPS / Food Safety desirableBefore You Apply
