Job Title: Quantity Surveyor – RC Frame Contractor
Location: London
Salary: ￡350 to ￡450 Per Day - Or Salary
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent - Can be paid via LTD
About Us:
My client is a leading RC frame and groundworks contractor based in London, with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality civil engineering and structural concrete packages across residential, commercial, and infrastructure sectors. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced and driven Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team.
The Role:
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of RC frame and groundwork packages across multiple sites in London and the surrounding areas. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you’ll be responsible for cost planning, procurement, contract administration, and financial reporting from pre-construction through to final account.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and manage project budgets, cost plans, and valuations
*
Manage subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and payments
*
Monitor and control project costs and cash flow
*
Prepare monthly CVRs and project reports for internal and client use
*
Handle contract variations, claims, and final accounts
*
Ensure compliance with company commercial processes and procedures
*
Work collaboratively with project managers, site teams, and clients
Requirements:
*
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
*
Minimum 3 years’ experience with RC frame and/or groundwork contractors
*
Strong understanding of construction contracts (NEC, JCT, etc.)
*
Proficient in MS Excel and other QS software
*
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
*
Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
