Job Title: QTS Humanities Teacher
Location: East Lancashire
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: September 2025 (New Academic Year)
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Humanities Teacher to join a dedicated and passionate team at a secondary school in East Lancashire for the new academic year, starting September 2025. The successful candidate will teach Geography, History, and/or Religious Studies across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, inspiring students to explore the world and think critically about the past, present, and future.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging Humanities lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
Inspire students to develop a deep understanding of the world's cultures, history, and belief systems
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to help students succeed
Promote critical thinking and global awareness within the classroom
Contribute to extracurricular activities and school events related to HumanitiesQualifications and Experience:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching Geography, History, and/or Religious Studies in a secondary school setting
Strong classroom management and communication skills
