Smile Education are looking for a full-time Maths Teacher (with QTS) for a secondary school based in Melton Mowbray for two terms starting after Christmas.

What does the role involve?
Preparing Maths teaching and learning materials for KS3 and KS4 pupils
Providing guidance and advice to pupils on education and on their further education and careers
Providing feedback to students and parents, through consultation evenings, phone calls or written communication as appropriate
Contributing to department planning and self-evaluation
Providing professional support to other teachers and support staff
Attending departmental and school meetings, either during or after the school day, as requested
What do you need?
An Maths -related education degree
A valid QTS/PGCE
An enhanced DBS registered to the update service (If you do not hold this, we can arrange for you at a cost of £44, which is refundable once you have completed ten days in your new role.)
Knowledge of the UK Secondary Curriculum and the subjects
Able and willing to travel to the area - Melton Mowbray

The school can offer you security with the role as it is a long-term position for at least 2 academic terms.
