Science Teacher (Biology, Chemistry & Physics) – Solihull Secondary School
Location: Solihull
Contract: Supply | Short-Term | Long-Term | Maternity & Sickness Cover
Salary: Competitive Daily Rates (PAYE Options Available)
Start Date: Immediate / Ongoing
Are you a passionate and fully qualified Science Teacher with experience delivering high-quality lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics? Are you confident teaching across KS3, KS4 (GCSE), and KS5 (A-Level)?
Link3 Recruitment is proud to be working with a high-achieving and inclusive secondary school in Solihull, and we’re looking for outstanding Science Teachers to support their thriving Science department through supply teaching, short- or long-term placements, and maternity/sickness cover.
About the Role:
You will be expected to:
Teach General Science at KS3
Deliver Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics at GCSE level
Ideally teach your specialism at A-Level
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that stretch and challenge students
Assess and monitor progress, preparing pupils for public examinations with confidence
Collaborate effectively with other teachers, technicians, and leadership to ensure a high standard of science education
Contribute to departmental planning, assessment, and potentially extra-curricular STEM activities
Requirements:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Essential
Have experience teaching across all science disciplines
Proven track record of teaching at KS3, KS4 and ideally KS5
Strong classroom management skills
Be committed, professional, and genuinely passionate about student success
Have excellent knowledge of the UK curriculum, assessment, and differentiation strategies

Skilled in differentiating content and supporting learners with a range of needs
