Job Description
Prospero Teaching is seeking qualified QTS Tutors to deliver high-quality tuition to young people requiring Alternative Provision across East Sussex. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of learners who need additional support outside of mainstream education.
Key Details:
Hours: Flexible, part-time opportunities available
Age Range: Learners from 4 years old to post-16
Subjects: Core curriculum and tailored learning plans
Delivery: One-to-one, in-personAs a Tutor, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual needs
Support learners with academic progress and personal development
Maintain accurate records and provide feedback to stakeholders
Ensure safeguarding and welfare standards are upheldAbout you:
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
Experience working with children and young people in education
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning needs
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)Position -QTS Tutor

Essential & Desirable Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status
Minimum of 1 year of experience working with young people
Experience of working with learners with SENTo be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must:
Hold right to work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide references upon request
Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)Before You Apply
